Schools think so….

Today we had a visit by the CM1 and CM2 of the French School in Pondicherry!  The two classes and their teachers walked to the Distillery this morning and after a brief talk about Peter Kabel and his trip on NH8 following the lorries, students dashed about looking at Kabel’s colourful photographs.  Teachers created a scavenger hunt asking students to find small items like a brush and hidden items like sleeping drivers to get the students to study the images more carefully but have fun doing it!    Many of the Indian and European children asked the adults questions about where the photographs were shot, how they were printed, and more!

Classes are welcome to visit the Distillery and teachers can contact pondy.art1@gmail.com to arrange guided visits!  Pondy ART is happy to see that Educators in Pondicherry use Pondy ART to expose their charges to great photography and build awareness of the issues challenging India today!

Thank you to all for coming!
