Franco-Russian photographer, Loulia Chvetsova concentrates on documentary photographer from her current base in Delhi, India. After completing the OCA London distant photography course in 2009, she traveled throughout Nepal, Tadjikistan and India documenting the traditions, festivals and overall culture she discovered along the way. Combining colors and movement she captures emotion reflecting the tensions of a moment in time. Recently the photo of “Holi” showcased in MOVING IMAGE was preselected in Sony World Photography Awards competition, “15 Photographs that will Open Your Eyes to the Wonders of the World.”
Loulia is a great admirer of masters like Alex Webb and Joseph Kudelka and Willy Ronis.
